Foster Family Photos

Our friend Justin Bowen took some photos for us. He knows his way around a camera. We wanted to capture a bit of this chapter of our lives. Hopefully our little girl will love to see pictures of her mom and dad climbing in trees! Enjoy!

Tubeless and Priceless

Update from the Hines Family: Ryann has been home with us since Sunday March 7th. She saw the pediatrician on March 10th and weighed 5 pounds 6 ounces and had grown to 18 inches. She saw the pediatrician yesterday and weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces! She is gaining about an ounce per day! She is eating good and getting plenty of sleep. She even lets Devon and I get some sleep every once in a while!

The pediatrician was so pleased with Ryann's progress that she let us take her off oxygen yesterday! Let me introduce you to our daughter with no tubes on her face! Devon and I are so pleased that Ryann is doing so well and we can't thank you enough for all of your prayers! God is answering them on a daily basis!

God Bless You All!

Sexy Mama!

My wife is a babe!

Ryann is Home!!!

An Update from the Hines Family: Ryann Morgan is finally home!

Devon and I spent Saturday night at the hospital with Ryann in our room. The nurses checked on us but we were 'on our own' with her to figure out what she would need in 24 hours and what her schedule is like. We got discharged Sunday afternoon. Ryann came home with a monitor as well as an oxygen tank. Hopefully she will only have to be hooked up to the machines for a few weeks. She is doing great! We gave her a bath, we have got to hold her and take naps with her and she is eating very well at home. We have also been changing lots of diapers! We love having her home!

Some of you have asked how big Ryann is so we got some photos of her next to Ashlynn's cabbage patch kid and holding a quarter in her hand. Ryann is now 5 pounds 3 ounces so you can find a 5 pound bag of sugar and that is how much she weighs and her head is about the size of an orange.

We see the pediatrician tomorrow and will find out what the next few weeks of Ryann's life look like. She will be 4 weeks old on Thursday and we can hardly believe it!

THANK YOU for all of your prayers!

Ryann Update

This is the latest update from my sister, Natalie.

We went to see Ryann last night and she didn't have her feeding tube! She is on an "ad-lib" schedule which means that she eats when she is hungry. She is doing great and taking all her feeding from a bottle. She got weighed and measured and she is now 16 1/2 inches long and has passed her birth weight and now weighs 4 lbs. 15.6 oz. Butch and Susie are on their way up to bring me diapers and meet Ryann today. The nurses asked us to bring in her car seat so she can do her car seat test (sit in in for one hour without cutting off her own airway) and they are also talking about sending her home with oxygen and a monitor since that is all that is keeping her in the nursery. Hopefully she will be home soon! We can't wait!
