Happy Thanksgiving from Placencia, Belize!

Greetings from Placencia, Belize! Melissa and I just made reservations at Wendy's Creole Restaurant for a big Thanksgiving meal tonight! There are several restaurants cooking turkey tonight, so we just had to narrow down the choices. Placencia is wonderful. It has the worlds narrowest main street, a 3 foot wide sidewalk that runs through the middle of town...really charming. We're headed to sit on the beach today near our favorite new spot, The Barefoot Beach Bar and Grill. We are doing well, enjoying perfect weather, and savoring these last days of vacation as a couple...once the child gets here it will be a whole new ballgame! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Belize Update

Just a quick update...the Belize trip is going great...lots of power-packed dentistry...not much down-time...we are headed on a jungle adventure tomorrow AM - our first "day off" if you will. This place is awesome...we are in the most laid back village in all of Belize - a very nice change of pace. We are safe and well. The food is great. I need to go kill a cockroach that is in our dental assistants hotel room...gotta run!

You better BELIZE it!!!

Well...we are headed out to Belize tonight on a red-eye flight. Our bags are packed, we're ready to go...we're leaving on a jet plane, and in this particular case we do happen to know when we will be back again (November 26th).

Please pray for us in the following ways:

1. Pray for good health (especially for Melissa as she is pregnant), traveling mercies, and overall safety.

2. Pray that our interaction with the Walkabout Kids will be fruitful.

3. Pray that we would be an encouragement to the staff of Da Wata Fountain.

4. Pray that God will draw Melissa and I near to one another and nearer to Him over the trip.

After we finish our week with the Walkabout kids we are headed to Placencia for 5 nights. We will be hanging out HERE. Thanksgiving on the beach! Sounds good to us!

When you get an ultrasound they print out some really small pictures for you. I took a picture of the pictures so you can see them here. Melissa did very well during the ultrasound. It was exciting to see the little one moving about.
